I wanted to write and congratulate you on the way you conduct your business, and for your leadership of a polite, professional and diligent team.

The service I have received from your office at Dowling Real Estate Mayfield has been second to none.

Two years ago, I purchased a property in Kitchener Parade Mayfield East from you. My recollection of that purchase is very positive. Your style as the selling agent was non intrusive but very helpful. You followed up when appropriate, but did not turn me off the property with any form of sales trickery. It was extremely evident that you had a personal passion for this home by the way you tactfully maintained the highest possible sale price for the Vendor, all within a manner that as the purchaser, I did not feel I was paying too much.

After extensive renovations to the home, I decided to re-list the property for sale. I invited 4 agents to appraise my home. Your appraisal of the property was not the highest, nor was it by any means the lowest- you did not try to “buy the listing”. However, when it came time to list the property for sale, you were the clear choice of agent.  The passion you had for the home and true desire to be the selling agent of this property came out once again.

It was my decision to list the property for sale at a price above where you thought it may reasonably sell. However, you respected my decision to list the home at the higher price and were as keen as I to try and secure a sale.

You found the eventual purchaser of the property at the very first open house and worked with her over 3 to 4 weeks before the sale was finally made. During this time you continued to market the home and open it for inspection, and despite buyer feedback you received on the home, you did not on any occasion suggest to me that I needed to drop the price. Instead you kept the belief with me that the right buyer would fall in love with this home and pay a reasonable price.

Joe, thank you for your patience, professionalism, and for an outstanding result in a remarkably short time. All in what is currently considered a depressed market. Also a special thanks to Chad for coming to my home one night in his own time to take professional dusk photos of the home, to Jenny for putting up with my many, many phone calls to your office and to Maria and Mathew for treating me like one of their own clients in your absence.

As serial renovators and experienced vendors, my husband and  I expect a lot from the agents who market our properties. Maria Di Claudio is one of those rare agents that we've dealt with that understands the concept of FEEDBACK. How can one make important decisions about their proeprty ie: price reductions, improvements needed for sale etc if they do not receive feedback from the prospective buyers via the agent. We need to hear the good news, the bad news and the the ridiculous as well.

Maria gave us considered appraisals on our properties and achieved exactly those prices for our two properties that she was marketing. There was no need for empty promises. Our properties sold quickly considering the current market and Maria even helped our tenants find a new home after our property was sold.
